The CompareIt Difference

Better Product Information:  The website provides the most product information available on the web. This includes detailed product attributes, photos, product comparisons, user ratings, pricing, and (when available) rich media, such as video and animations. Also provided are convenient links to additional sources of information including manufacturer sites, blogs, and third party reviews.

Independent & Unbiased Product Choices:  The competitors’ websites only display their own products (manufacturers) or only the products that they sell (resellers). CompareIt lists and compares all products inside of each product category. CompareIt draws its information from multiple sources, including internal sources, making it the most complete source available.

My CompareIt Accounts:  For those users that want to use the CompareIt Comparison Matrix, they’ll need to sign-up for their own free "My CompareIt" account. With an account they can also store their comparisons, add products to a "product list", and manage messages to and from CompareIt. They are also able to share their stored information with others. Users can either sign-up directly with or they can leverage our "Social Sign-In" capability using their Linked-In, Facebook, Twitter, or Google log-ins.

Always Free:  Unlike some other sources of product information (like Gartner) the website is free to use. Guests can see detailed product information and the comparative products grids. By signing up for a free "My CompareIt" account, guests become registered users and gain access to the CompareIt Comparison Matrix and online storage for their comparisons and "short-listed" products.

The CompareIt Comparison Matrix: is the only website that compares and ranks products based on user criteria. This is done by letting the user define their requirements by completing a questionnaire. Their answers are then compared against the product database. The results are then displayed in a product matrix, ranked from highest to lowest based on a percentage match. The competition, at best, provides a "one size fits all" ranking or merely provides a comparative product grid, neither of which take into account the user’s needs and preferences.
